“I visited the Native Route cottages in September and it was a wonderfully peaceful and calming experience. Coming from the hustle of city life, I really appreciated how serene and peaceful the cottages are and how all the little details are taken care of. The views are breathtaking and the gardens are serene and just the perfect spot for reading or chilling with the mountain puppies. The rooms are comfortable and very cosy. The location is fantastic, away from the crazy busyness but still close enough to visit all the places like Old Manali etc. almost everyday. I highly recommend visiting the Native route cottages on your next trip to Manali!”

“The Native Route in Shanag is truly a gem. It feels like stepping into a fairytale, with its well-maintained rooms and meticulous attention to detail evident throughout the property. The service here is exceptional, and the food is outstanding, offering excellent value for money. The menu provides healthier options with less oil and spices, a welcome rarity, and the chefs skillfully cater to both veg and non-veg preferences. Located just a 15-minute drive from Old Manali and about 35 minutes from the Atal Tunnel, it's ideally situated for exploring the local sights. Spending the weekend here was absolutely worth it. The hosts were very nice, ensuring that every aspect of our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They are currently in the process of opening a restaurant on the premises, and I would love to come back both for the dining experience and another delightful stay.”

“We had an amazing family trip to Manali, all thanks to Nitika and Faiz. The property is pet-friendly, and their adorable dogs made our stay even more enjoyable. Our room, Lilium, was cozy, spotless, and provided breathtaking views of the mountains and Rohtang Pass. Waking up to those views each morning was one of the highlights of our trip. The brook flowing through the garden added to the serene vibe of the property. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings, especially with the BBQ and bonfire. The location was fantastic—just a 15-minute drive to Old Manali and about 30 minutes to Atal Tunnel—making it easy for us to explore the local attractions. Can't wait to visit again!”

I love love love Native Routes' Lily Brook cottage. There are many reasons.
1. The house and garden are beautiful and stylish. The views are gorgeous. The brook gurgling through is cherry.
2. The hosts Nitika and Faiz are warm, concerned and just lovely. The superhosts of the canine variety Lili and Elsa are even better.
3. The food is just outstanding. It is unusual, innovative and just wow!
